Ghent

Ghent is one of the places that we have regretted not going to on a previous trip, so this time we went to have a look.

We didn't really have any plans for Ghent other than look around.

 

We went up the Bell Tower. We only had to walk up one level and then took a lift to the top.

 

Was some great views from the top.

    

We could see Matt having a beer at a café below

 

 

We had a look at some clocks...

  

 

   ...and then went back down...

We had some lunch in a pretty square

 

We then had a walk along a canal and looked at more pretty Belgium buildings.

 

 

This is my favourite photo of Ghent...so many beautiful towers all in one place.
