OKay

We stopped in this Supermarket in Oedelem on our way to Brugge a few days ago. We needed something for lunch and maybe some beers.
What a wonderfully strange store it was...

In every isle we found thinks to sample.

Smurf juice

Nuts



Different flavour marshmallows







Coffee and biscuits

Wine and chips

 

When we walked out of the supermarket, Ryan said that OKay was definitely his most favourite supermarket of the trip so far.

 

 

We were back there the next day for more Smurf juice and wine tasting.

 
 
 

This is the fridge with all the fruit and veggies, meat, cheese, yoghurt all in one place. For some strange reason the milk is in a separate fridge outside...

 

 

 Yesterday we went back there on request from the boys. Had more Smurf juice, for some meat and bread...which you get cut by a special machine. Very exciting...!!!

 

I found these individually wrapped oranges quite strange.

 

The checkout system was quite different too. But in all a very fun, unique supermarket experience.
