Sommieres

We only stayed close to the town of Sommieres for 1 night. I really wanted to see it, but we just didn't have time. With having a very late night before going to the Pont du Gard I figured that the boys would have a sleep-in.

There was a cycle path from our campground all the way to the town, so I went for a morning run to go and explore the town.

There were 2 gated entrances to the town and then lots of narrow little alley ways zig-zagging the centre.

 

 

 

 

 

On the way running back to the campground I saw these wild poppies and vineyards.
