Bodiam Castle

When we got to Bodiam Castle it was overcast and windy. As we got close to the entrance it started to rain.

 

 



 

Going up the tower was one way of getting out of the rain. The steps were very steep!!

 

By the time we got to the top it had stopped raining.

 

 

Not sure if these were vineyards or hop bines. Some hops drying towers on the horizon.

Back down...

 

 

And then suddenly all the clouds were gone... The castle was beautiful in the sunshine!
