Scotney Castle

We left London on a wet and windy day. The roads were surprisingly quiet and we made good time. Decided to stop in a Scotney castle on the way down to Hastings.

 

 

It was really windy, so we went into the house at Scotney castle first. The boys got some maps with things to look out for in every room.

 

It was still pretty windy when we got back out, but at least the sun was shining. The boys used their jackets as kites.

 

The boys spent quite a bit of time in the Discovery Room. They were feeling different kinds of fur, playing with antlers, exploring and dicovering...

 

 

 

 

 

While they were happily looking at everything I walked down the hill to the castle. It was really pretty!

 

 There was a quick play in a puddle and then we went going.
