Another day at the Safari Park

We decided to go back to the Safari Park to go on the Boat and then the Bus Safari. We got on the boat and was ready to go, when a school group turned up. The 100+ kids were so noisy, we decided to get off the boat.
Went for another Auto Safari instead, planning to stop at the far end of the park and then walk around a different part of the park.

First we noticed that the wild dogs were in a different enclosure, and then saw a couple of cheetahs walking around. They were not behind a fence! Then saw this beauty sitting next to the road.

We drove past these:

We parked the car and started our walk at the playground. There was this very cool jumping pillow...

We happened to walk past an area just as the Eagle and Vulture Show was about to start. We stopped and watched the show.

We had a walk through the flamingo enclosure.

A few animals we saw on our walk.

We spent ages watching the gorillas. They had four males in an enclosure and they were being fed while we were there.

Next we fed some fish. Ryan figured out that one of the fish food vending machines was faulty and how to get food without paying. The fish were very grateful.

This sign was in Dutch and Afrikaans....very strange...

And then we had the coolest experience. We drove through the giraffe enclosure. A giraffe came over and licked the windscreen. She also cleaned all the leave and seeds around our wipers.

She wandered off and then the next giraffe came over. He had just been eating hay and leaves and then came licking our roof and Ryan's window. We thought he would clean it, but instead everything had green slobber on....

Another great day in Holland!!
