Bruges

The farm we stayed at in Belgium was less than 15km away from Bruges. We have been to Bruges before, but it was in the middle of winter way back before we had kids. I really wanted to go back there.

 The boys did not want to leave the farm and the donkeys and pony and bikes for a sightseeing trip, but we I am so glad we made them.

We parked our car at the train station, and then with our parking ticket we could all take the bus for free to the centre of Bruges. We had no plan other than to have a look around.

 

 

 

 

 

 There is not much to say....we walked around and looked at pretty buildings.

 

And we looked and bridges and canals.

 

 

 On the way back to the bus stop we found the Beer Wall.

 We saw this shop on the bus ride back to the station.

 

And thousands of bikes parked at the train station. 

 

When we got back to the car the parking was only 2 Euro. A pretty cheap day out.
