A day in London

After driving in London yesterday, and sitting in the traffic for hours, we were ready to take on public transport. We took a train into London and got of at the Shard.

We went to see Leonard's work and by that time we needed something to eat. Found a little South African shop where we bought some tennis biscuits. That saw us through until we found some lunch.

We had our lunch in a park with hundreds of other people.

We walked over the bridge to the London Eye. We had passes to go on it, but not sure how long the queues were. When we showed our Merlin passes it got us in with only about 3 minutes waiting. It was so nice to skip the queues.

Next we used our Merlin passes to go to the Sea Life Aquarium.

We decided to go and have a quick look at Big Ben, but the boys had a quick break in the shade first.

And then we headed home. It was so nice to not worry about traffic, and just sit and relax on the way home.
Even by the end of the day the boys were still excited about every train they saw. Their final count was about 50 trains...
