The Kyman

We were so close to the Welsh border so decided to go and have a quick look in Wales.

Took a narrow, windy road up the hill to The Kyman.

"Standing proudly atop a prominent hill, the Kymin and its nine acres of pleasure grounds, overlooks Monmouth and the beautiful Wye Valley." Apparently the gentleman use to come up the hill for a picnic once a year. They then decided to come once a week. They built the round house to use as a shelter when the were up there.

While we were inside to show our membership cards, the boys got themselves involved in a game of Viking Skittles.

Had some lunch in the shade after the game.

Just coming up here for the views would have been worthwhile. The game of skittles was a bonus.
