Another day at Legoland

On our first visit to LEGOLAND we didn't manage to fit everything in. By the time we did a few rides, the queues we just too long. So we went back for a second visit on a weekday...

As we walked in the boys yelled: 'Look, Mount Rushmore!' We asked them how they knew about Mt Rushmore, and apparently it was on Jungle Junction. I guess kids TV is educational after all... Also had another quick photo with Emmet.

Alex really wanted to go on the Boating School ride. We queued for at least 25 minutes. The ride was OK...the boys could steer the boat themselves which was cool. We saw some Lego animals on the way...

Next was the Fire Academy. When the siren went we had to run to our fire engine, hop in, and start pumping a handle up and down. This made the fire engine move forwards towards a 'burning building'. When we got to the building we had to jump out and then pump a leaver to squirt water. I had to pump 2 leavers at the same time to make both boys' hoses work. When the fire was put out, we had to get back on the fire engine and rush back to the start. It was lots of fun!!

The queues at Laser Raiders wasn't too bad, so we had a go. All 4 of us were in a little car and got to shoot at things collecting points when we hit targets. I got 7000 points... By the time we finished the queues were quite a bit longer. If they weren't, we would've definitely gone again.

Next Ryan went on a merry-go-round. Alex is like me and doesn't like things going round and round so he went to look at a Lego camel.

We went through a maze and the boys found may holes to stick their heads through.

On the way out we had a quick walk through Miniland and saw some statues we didn't see last time.

We were on the road down to Bournemouth by 1:00. It was quicker to do the 150km to Bournemouth than the 50km to Leonard's place in London.
