Kingston Lacy

We wanted to have a look at the Bradbury Rings, but our GPS couldn't find it. Headed to Blandford hoping to find some road signs. Found a brewery and Matt bought some local beers. Then went to the Tourist Info and got directions. There wasn't much to the Bradbury Rings, but it was so nice to get to the country.

From there we drove along the Beech Avenue to Kingston Lacy.

The boys found a little shelter. We walked through the gardens all the way to the kitchen garden.

There they found some pigs to feed.

Ryan thought this one was very 'handsome'

These ones were constantly fighting over the food
We found some interesting looking scarecrows in the garden.

We picked plenty of berries as we walked through the gardens. I liked these pink flowered strawberries.

The boys had a quick play on the tractors.

We headed back through the gardens to the house. The boys took some photos.

The house was beautiful inside, but we weren't allowed to use our flash, so didn't get many good photos.

The top level of the house was the children's quarters. The boys had a bit of a play there.

On the way out we had a look at the laundry. We couldn't figure out why there were canons under the bench in the laundry....

Another fun day out....
