Legoland

We left a cold and overcast London just after 8:00 in the morning. The 50 km to LEGOLAND took about a 100 minutes to drive. By then it was warm and sunny and we were ready for adventure.

We had a read the night before and figured out what to go do early before the queues were too long. We went to do the submarine ride at Atlantis first. Only waited for about 2 minutes. It was pretty cool to have fish and sharks swim all around our submarine.

Next we did the Dino Safari. The queue wasn't very long so we went on it twice.

We did Fairy Tale Brook a couple of times as well. The Lego fairy tale characters were amazing!!

Little Red Riding Hood

I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house down

Hansel and Gretel

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Cinderella

Aladdin

The boys both went to the Driving School. Alex went on the big road for 6-13 year olds and Ryan on the small road for 3-5 year olds. Both were driving very well, obeying all the road rules. Soon they should be ready to start driving for real...

The helicopters were lots of fun too.

By then it was getting pretty hot, so we went to cool down at Drench Towers.

After cooling down we went to Miniland...but this needs it whole own blog entry to do it justice.

After lots of running the boys went for a sit down to play with some Lego. There was a table with everyone's creations. It soon became a challenge to build the highest tower...

This tower earned them a golden token, which means free entry for life... Neither of them were impressed with the prize as we have passes to come as many times ad we want anyway.

Next we met Emmet and Wyld Style.

After this we went for a quick look at the Starwars Lego.

By then it was about 4:00. The boys didn't seem to tire at all, but I was exhausted. We called it a day, and planned to go again on a weekday. Hopefully it would be less busy and we can do the rides we didn't get around to.
