A well and Wells

The plan was to meet up with the family in Wells in the morning. There was no cell phone reception in the car, so we stopped at Coleridge Cottage. There was no reception there either, but the boys found a well.

  

 

 We eventually met up with the family in Wells, but they went off to Bath. We grabbed some lunch and then it started pouring!!
We found some shelter and waited for the rain to stop to go to the Bishop's Palace. The rain just kept going so we ran to the Wells Cathedral instead.

 

We took our time exploring inside. I didn't take many photos as you needed a photography permit.

When we got back outside the rain had stopped. We got to appreciate the cathedral from the outside as well.

Wells is a beautiful town!!

 

 

We went to kill some time at Nunney Castle and met up with the family at their B&B later in the afternoon. The boys had a quick swim and then a nice warm and bubbly bath.

 

We all went to have dinner at the George Inn.

 

 
 

 

It was so nice to see my parents on this tri. Just wished they could've been here for longer.
